Annual reports
WorkSafe ACT is proud to present the 2020-21 Office of the Work Health and Safety Commissioner Annual Report. This is the inaugural Annual Report of WorkSafe ACT as an independent agency, which was formed on 1 July 2020.
The Annual Report showcases our accomplishments over the past financial year and highlights the significant contribution WorkSafe ACT has made to ensuring the health and safety of workers across the Territory.
WorkSafe ACT Annual report data was previously included in the annual report for the Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate (CMTEDD).

Workplace safety resources
WorkSafe ACT has developed a range of workplace safety resources to support safety in a variety of workplaces. You can access workplace safety posters, videos and checklists in the safety resources section.

Getting home safely report
In September 2012, the then ACT Attorney General Mr Simon Corbell asked Lynelle Briggs and Mark McCabe to conduct an inquiry into compliance with and application of work health and safety laws in the ACT's construction industry. The Inquiry Panel was established in the wake of three deaths in the construction industry within a year and a high number of other serious safety incidents.
