
Media Alert: WorkSafe ACT Continues Industry Breakfast Series: Focus on Education

Dear media colleagues,
WorkSafe ACT is excited to announce the next event in our Industry Breakfast Series, this month focusing on the education industry.
This event will take place on Wednesday, 26 June at 7am, at Hotel Realm, Barton ACT. We invite stakeholders and media personnel to join us for a morning of insightful discussion and networking.
We look forward to hearing from a panel of experts who will share their diverse perspectives on work health and safety landscape in education industry. This month’s panel includes:
· Jacqueline Agius, Work Health and Safety and Labour Hire Licence Commissioner for the ACT
· Angela Burroughs, Branch President, Australian Education Union
· Kate McMahon, Executive General Manager, Safe at Schools
· Cadeyrn Ollerenshaw, Teacher/Health and Safety Representative
We will also be joined by Minister Mick Gentleman MLA and Laura Nuttall MLA.
The event will commence with a Welcome to Country by Aunty Violet Sheridan and will be emceed by Lish Fejer.
Broadcast quality audio feeds will be made available to attending media in the designated media area.
