Translated Guidance Notes
WorkSafe ACT is happy to now be able to provide translated guidance notes for Work Health and Safety (WHS) management plans and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS). This will make it easier for workers to understand workplace safety requirements.
The guidance notes are available in:
+ Simplified Chinese
+ Nepali
+ Vietnamese, and
+ Punjabi
You can find the new translated guidance notes at Safe Work Method Statements - WorkSafe ACT and Work health and safety management plans - WorkSafe ACT.
Understanding WHS fundamentals can be difficult, particularly for workers from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds. To address this, WorkSafe ACT has engaged with several CALD employment organizations to identify the specific WHS concerns that these workers in the territory need answers to.
