Serious About Safe Business Program

WorkSafe ACT is offering small businesses support through the Serious About Safe Business Program. The program aims to help small businesses take a systematic approach to management of their health and safety risks - at a level suitable for their sized business. The program involves:

• a half-day workshop, tailored to the needs of small businesses
• introduction to the Serious About Safe Business Pack
• advice on the basic steps to be taken by small businesses to ensure they are complying with their health and safety obligations, protecting their workers and risk-proofing their businesses against the potentially devastating impact of workplace injuries
• a Certificate of Achievement and window decal on completion of the program

Serious About Safe Business Pack

This pack contains tools and information to help you identify what you need to do to make your workplace safer and outlines how to go about doing it. The pack is a practical approach to managing safety in the workplace - essentially it is a simplified safety management system suitable for small businesses.

ACTSafe General Training Module

WorkSafe ACT provides an online health and safety package for owners, managers, persons in control of a business or undertaking and workers in small and medium sized businesses. A Safety Awareness Certificate is provided following successful completion of a self assessment test.
